Sunday=teh sex, Monday=the not sex

Woke up, decided to put in Phantom of the Opera...hm, this soft spot for musicals might be getting out of hand. I saw a commercial for Rent when I saw Broken Flowers (excellent movie) on friday night with some friends...can't wait- Nov something. I also finished Harry Potter 6 yesterday, and it was excellent, but I have trouble admitting that, expecially when I remember vowing never to read the books mere months ago. meh, things change I s'pose. I spent last night watching Hero with Michelle, a girl on my floor, and that was good. We talked for a long time before that and after (over a cup of Earl Gray). She's really nice, hardcore but nice. I hiked Long's Peak with her 2 weekends ago, and that was the greatest thing this fall so far. I can't wait until next year to do it again. It was perfect weather. We peaked at 5 AM (we overestimated the time it would take by a bit ;), but then we stayed at the top until _almost_ sunrise and booked it back down by 10 --6 hours up, 4 hours down. I could go in to more detail about the trip, but needless to say, it was a lot of fun. More on Michelle later, probably.

Speaking of Long's...my hip has been sore for the last 2 weeks after hiking. Something bad happened. I don't like this. I went to the MSK clinic, and besides them telling me they have no idea what's going on, it turns out it's official that my left leg is ~1 cm longer than my right leg. My suspicions were correct! Now, this kind of sucks, but it explains why I'm so one-sided. Left abs more defined, better balance on left leg, better kicking with right leg, etc etc. ...hmph. I don't know what to make of this turn of events at the moment. I've got an appointment with the sports doctor on Tuesday, and I hope that it goes well (X-rays and all).

I definitely wouldn't mind drinking with Caitlyn again at some point, she's awesome; Annie's hilarious too when she gets even a bit tipsy. RA staff this year rocks! Spomer's more easy going than expected, Meagan's ...crazy in love with her boyfriend, Kristin is definitely hot (maybe a bit shallow, plus she's never hanging out with staff), PJ's feeling like he's getting left out (I feel bad), Nick's the same hardcore RA he'll always be..., Suzanna's really nice, and Ryan (HD) is very introverted (not that that's a bad thing). As far as Ryan goes, I totally undertsand his situation, but he's going to make me miss this NIN concert in October that I paid 60 bucks for just for a fucking staff meeting AUUAUUGHGHGHGH (insert various curses here).

I found out Josh is taking bass lessons still...makes me want to start practicing again, and get our band moving again...it's been so long... We'll have to call Colin and get him to drum, that'd kick ass!
